As from 29th January in addition to below, at an earlier time of 6.15 pm  

One you Couch to 5k in Nine Weeks.

 

The sessions will follow the Public Health England One You Couch to 5K app, so if you are unable to make a night, you can run it in your own time and keep up with the group.  The first few weeks are walk/jog sessions to build confidence, stamina and strength and over nine weeks you will build up to being able to run for 30 minutes without a break.  

 

To achieve this you will need to commit to 3 runs a week, but these do not all need to be with the group, as you will have the app to follow.

 

The One You Couch to 5K app is freely available for smartphones and it is advised you have this to use.

 

The group starts on Tuesday 29th January, meets every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6:15 pm, for half an hour at the Admiral swimming pool in Brixham. There is no cost for this initial program but you may choose to join the Harriers main group at the end of the nine weeks, which meets on the same days at 7 o'clock.
