Its been another busy month for the Harriers, with the arrival of spring bringing lighter evenings and lots of running events. Here's a mostly pictorial round-up of the whats been happening this spring time;
Couch to 5k group Graduate with a parkrun and cakes!
After nine weeks of coaching this years couch to 5k group, officially finished their training with a celebratory parkrun at Torbay, with medals and cakes baked by Linda
This was also a special day for Mandy, who by careful planning managed to coincide her 100th park run with a milestone birthday.
And in true harriers style this was followed by a good old knees-up in the evening!
Cycle Ride to Moreton Hampstead
They do say that key to building fitness is a bit of cross-training so we put the wheels in motion this month with a 27 mile cycle ride, along the picturesque Stover trail to Moreton Hampstead
Naturally a pub lunch was involved!

In case you are wondering, as well as eating cake, going to the pub, partying and galivanting around to park runs, we also do some serious running and there has been quite a lot of action on that front too....
Hilary after completing Cousin Jack, an 18 mile race along one of the most beautiful yet strenuous stretches of the coastline between St Just and St Ives,
Nikki and Susan at the start of the Exe to Axe, a fairly grueling 20 mile route along the South West Coast Path from Exmouth to Seaton
Sarah completed the London Landmarks Half-Marathon in an impressive 2:09 (and 10 mile PB on the Granite Way).

Next week its the London Marathon, Susan and Linda will be at the start line, with Johnny & David shouting words of encouragement, from various pub stops en route... full report coming up next time!
